Ghana National Gas Company is set to construct an Astro-turf pitch at Pusiga in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Company seeks to provide support to communities in need and to assist development in projects-affected areas of the economy.

The Astro-turf pitch, which is the first of its in the Upper East Region, will have a modern FIFA standard pitch, a car park, fencing, floodlights, and a changing room among others when completed.

It is expected to help provide talents for sports development among the youth within and around the community.

Project Assistant Manager at Ghana Gas Anyimah Edomgbole assured the gathering that funds are ready to start and complete the project within six months.
