The Ghana National Gas Company has commissioned an Assembly Hall for Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.

The exercise was done on the school’s premises on Wednesday, August 17.

The Assembly Hall, which was in a bad state for so many years, has been renovated by the Ghana Gas company.

Speaking at the commissioning, board member Nana Asiaa Benneh Beyeemah I revealed that Ghana Gas through its CSR strategies is propelling development across all the 16 regions of Ghana, adding the Company is committed to touching lives and impacting communities through the implementation of social intervention projects to project-affected communities and the country at large.

“In the Eastern Region alone, over 11 projects are being executed in the fields of education, health, sports, water and sanitation.”

She added: “In education, a 4-unit semi-detached teachers’ quarters and a 6-unit classroom block have been constructed at Okrakwadwo and Ayemesu respectively.”

The board member also added that the gas company is also supporting the Akropong School for the Blind to construct a modern school gate and refurbish the school’s kitchen.

Project Assistant Manager for Ghana Gas Edomgbole Nwiah Anyimah reiterated the company’s commitment to provide assistance to Aburi Girls Senior High School and other institutions.

He added Aburi Girls deserves the best Assembly Hall to help both students and teachers.

“Ghana Gas management, board are of the view that students of Aburi Girls will get ultra modern and befitting assembly hall.”

He commended the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Ben Asante and the board led by Kennedy Agyapong for their vision to touch lives and to provide support to education, health, sports and water and sanitation to the various communities and the country at large.
